Piece Of Power: My Evo8 Then & Now
When I first got my Evo it had the usual upgrades everyone typically chooses to get done first. Turbo back exhaust, intake, lowering springs, gauges, a set of Rota wheels, and the boost turned up a bit, it really made a great daily. When I first got it I didn't really have any local car friends so I didn't really have any influence or sense of competition to start changing things on it.
One night I had been driving around and a guy I knew, who was the ex of a previous good friend, saw the car and messaged to stop by where they had been hanging out.
The closest road course track is about 3 hours in any direction so everyone around here is mainly into either car shows or the drag strip. I could never really get to into either so going to these events never gave me the itch to change much on the car either. It wasn't until I had my first high performance driving experience that I really had that itch to upgrade.
Thus here is where he is at for now.
