Piece Of SpringBreakDown
A warm and sunny Sunday afternoon brings everyone of all ages out of hiding. We finally were graced with 70 degree weather and you can be sure there wasn't a soul in central PA that wasn't taking advantage of it. Grass was being cut, kids outside playing, every deck buzzing with chatter and a car show being held.
LowLifeStyle x JunkStyles and Counter Kultur did an amazing job bringing this event back to life. Although I can't say much because I wasn't able to show up until the crowd had started dwindling off, but from what friends had said there was a mass amount of cars lined up early morning to claim a spot to hang out. Friends, parts swap, great builds and entertainment made this event perfect for a relaxing Sunday afternoon to kick off the season.
Adam's MkV Gti is a build I highly enjoyed seeing. Adam is a local friend so I have seen his car in a few different stages now. However, this year he decided to dedicate his build to an enthusiast who many hold close to their heart, r.i.p. Cory Burgess. He's really gone above and beyond with his project OneLastRide and has done an amazing job honoring Cory and keeping his memory alive.
OneLastRide is dipped in the HKS purple Cory had done, sitting on his old set of 1552 wheels. Adam also had a vinyl of Cory done at 717 Wraps that is displayed on the rear window. I didn't know Corey personally but I can't say I know one person who didn't know of him and think of him as a true inspiration.
Billetworkz has purple 'Breathe Easy' shift knobs with 50% of the proceeds going to Cory's family.
You can also donate to the GoFundMe page if you'd like.
