Spring Cruise Week

Not a lot of my friends were attending Cruise Week this Spring so I thought it would be the perfect time to bring my Canon film camera to play around with. That said I am still waiting to be able to develop my film. However while I wait for them, I couldn't resist to grab a few pictures with my digital.

I absolutely love events at Ocean City, Maryland. Cruise Week and H2Oi, as I mentioned previously, are probably my favorite of the year.  They provide a little of everything.

You can drive up and down the strip, which is decently long, with friends talking and meeting those driving along side you. You can hang out on the sidelines watching or egging on for burnouts from everyone and their mothers.  You have the shows and meets setup at locations along the strip as well with many picture perfect opportunities.  You can check out the boardwalk for some fun or one of the many restaurant options to satisfy the stomach.  There are also some fun places to go out to at night.  You have the beach and the bay on either side which if not for entertainment provides a beautiful view.  Even just staying in the room if the weather isn't appealing typically is never a dull time.  It is an extended weekend well worth it to hang out with friends, meet knew ones, set up some photo shoots, cruise with the kind, and see a ton of badass cars.

Of course all the fun can come with a price. The police department takes no mercy on anyone.  Pretty much at Cruise Week they will pull over for racing and burnouts, H2Oi they'll get you for any modification and also racing and burnouts.   Be smart and keep it out of sight. which can sometimes be tough due to the fact there are so many of them. They even ride around on bicycles!

I was planning and really hoping to have my Evo8 done for this years Spring Cruise Week but unfortunately I keep running into issues that have further postponed getting the car finished. I ended up just driving the BMW down and riding with friends, which is still fun.  Seeing all the other cars definitely sparked some motivation to get it together and I am definitely looking forward to having it at this years H2Oi weekend at Ocean City.
