Long Awaited Road Trip
For years, I have dreamt of driving my Evo on the west coast. Specifically in California, even more specifically, on it's curvy canyon roads. Finally living in Utah, I am in more of a position to make that dream a reality. Which is exactly what I did this past week.
My road trip started with the six hour trip down to Las Vegas, Nevada. On the way down to Nevada, I always feel the need to stop in the Virgin River Canyon for some pictures. This time I thought I was going to pass out from the heat. It was also one of the very few times I have ever used the a/c in the Evo.
Continuing down to Las Vegas I was able to spend time with some family, meet up with my road trip partner, and was finally able to align schedules with Jimmy of Crooks Life who I had met back in Pittsburgh at a Track Night event. Also, the heat in Las Vegas was not any better than the canyon.
After spending some time in Las Vegas, we set out at 1:30am Sunday morning, after not being able to fall asleep, headed towards Los Angeles. More specifically, the Malibu Cars & Coffee.
Make sure to check back for the Cars & Coffee coverage soon!
